Privacy Policy

MyLinksAre gives people a fast, beautiful home for everything they make. Respecting the privacy of the people who use it, and of the visitors who tap through, is part of that promise. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

• We never show ads and we never sell personal information.
• Pages load no third-party trackers unless their owner adds them, and then only after the visitor agrees.
• YouTube and Vimeo videos load only after a visitor chooses to play them.
• You can export or delete your data at any time from your settings.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address, username and a securely hashed password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor handles your card details; we only receive the card brand, last four digits and expiry date.

Content you publish. Your name, bio, links, images, fonts and settings are stored so we can show your page. Anything on your public page is, by design, public.

Visitor analytics. To show you views and clicks, we record aggregate events: the page viewed, the block tapped, the referring site, the device type and an approximate country derived from the IP address. We do not store full IP addresses alongside these events and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

Sign-ups and messages. If a visitor joins a list, unlocks a link or sends a message through a page, the details they enter are shared with that page's owner, who becomes responsible for how they are used.

Owner-added pixels. Paid plans can add Meta, TikTok or Google Analytics tags. These load only after a visitor allows them in the consent prompt, and are governed by the page owner's own privacy practices.

How we use information

• To provide, secure and improve the service.
• To show you analytics about your own pages.
• To send essential account emails such as receipts and security alerts.
• To prevent abuse, spam and fraud.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate MyLinksAre, such as hosting, email delivery and payment processing, under contracts that limit their use of it, or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes your pages immediately and erases your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can do most of this from your settings, or by emailing support@mylinksare.com.
